Cloud Applications
Our cloud is based on Nextcloud, which means you have default access to many applications – email, files, calendar and much more. On request, we can install additional tools tailored to your needs. This makes arkDisk not just a place for files – it's a full-fledged workstation you can use from anywhere in the world.
Scribe – Speech to Text
A proprietary application built by us from scratch – you won't find it in the standard version of Nextcloud. It allows you to convert audio recordings into written notes quickly and conveniently. Tools like this are usually paid – with us, they're included in the package, with no limits. Use it as much as you want, and your data never leaves our infrastructure.
Public and Private Links
This feature will appeal to both creative individuals and office workers. Share entire folders or selected files – the recipient sees only what you share, with no access to anything else. The link can be open to everyone or password-protected – you decide who and how gains access to your content.
Full GDPR Compliance
We operate in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data is processed exclusively within the European Union, on our own servers. We do not transfer it to third parties, do not profile users, and ensure full transparency in data processing. You have complete control over your data.
SFTP Access
With the SFTP protocol, you can quickly transfer large amounts of files directly to your cloud. It's the ideal solution when you need to transfer many gigabytes at once. This requires basic technical knowledge. Note: files secured with server-side encryption cannot be copied this way.
AES-256 Encryption
Nextcloud offers server-side encryption using the AES-256 standard – one of the strongest algorithms currently available. When using the sync client, your files are encrypted in such a way that even we cannot access them. If you store truly confidential data, we strongly recommend enabling this option.
Secure Calendar Synchronization
Calendar synchronization uses the CalDAV protocol – an open standard that allows you to sync events with any calendar application. Your calendar data remains fully under GDPR control. A detailed configuration guide can be found in our Help → Documentation section.
Online Group Document Editing
Work on documents together with others in real time. See who is currently editing the file and what changes they're making. Just share a link – even people without an arkDisk account can join the editing. An ideal solution for collaborative work on projects, reports, or proposals without sending files by email.
Full Online Office
Our cloud is integrated with Collabora Office – a full office suite running directly in the browser. Create and edit text documents, spreadsheets, and presentations without installing any additional software. It's the equivalent of popular office suites, but with full respect for your privacy.
Data Stored Exclusively on Our Servers
All your files and data are stored exclusively on our own servers. We do not use third-party services for data storage – neither Amazon, nor Google, nor Microsoft. You can be sure that your data doesn't fall into unauthorized hands and stays where it should – under our and your full control.
Our Own Infrastructure
We stand for complete independence. We don't use Cloudflare or other popular intermediaries – the entire infrastructure is ours. This is a fundamental decision driven by concern for your privacy. We want to be as independent as possible so that no external entity has insight into the traffic or data of our users.
No Ads or Tracking
We don't send spam or promotional materials. If you provide us with your contact details, we use them responsibly only. We provide support when you need it, but we don't interfere with your privacy. We don't profile, don't track, don't sell – your data is used solely to manage your account.
